By refining the rope-dyeing process—using room temperature water instead of the usual high heat—I preserve the white core in every thread. This faithfully recreates the vertical yarns found in 1940s vintage denim, resulting in a fabric that fades beautifully and tells a unique story with every wear.

Union Special 43200G
The most legendary name among denim enthusiasts. This iconic machine creates the signature roping faded hem, essential for authentic chain-stitched cuffs and hems.
Union Special 39200
The very first generation, circa 1940. Used for overlock stitching, these machines were widely found in Levi’s factories—some even still bear the original Levi’s ownership tags.

Used for inseam construction, this heavy-duty workhorse produces bold, beautiful chainstitching with thick threads—an impressive symbol of classic denim durability.
