1. Machine Wash – With Care
   
   • Turn the jacket inside out before washing to reduce surface abrasion and fading.
   • Use cold or lukewarm water (below 86°F / 30°C) to prevent shrinkage.
   • Select a gentle or delicate cycle on your washing machine.
   • Use a mild, non-bleach detergent, preferably one formulated for dark fabrics (e.g., Woolite Dark).
   • Avoid strong spin cycles; remove the jacket immediately after washing to reduce creasing.
2. Drying
   
   • Do not tumble dry. High heat can damage the fabric and cause permanent shrinkage.
   • Hang dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area to prevent direct sunlight from fading the indigo dye.
   • Use a hanger to preserve the shape of the jacket while it dries.
3. Ironing
   
   • If needed, iron the jacket inside-out while it is still slightly damp.
   • Use a hot iron (cotton setting) to press out wrinkles.
   • Avoid ironing directly on the outer surface to prevent fabric shine.
4. Storage
   
   • Store the jacket in a cool, dry place.
   • Hang the jacket rather than folding it to maintain its structure and avoid permanent creases.
   • Avoid storing in plastic garment bags; use breathable fabric covers if needed.
5. Spot Cleaning & Odor Removal
   
   • For small stains, spot clean gently using a damp cloth and mild soap.
   • To freshen without washing, place the jacket in a sealed bag and leave it in the freezer overnight to kill odor-causing bacteria naturally.
